Getting some interesting power crank data from Andrew Neethling in Norway During the final round of the World Cup series 2012, we recorded data from Andrew Neethling across a range of runs throughout the weekend, to assess performance and changes across practice/ qualifying and race runs.

Media interest from Dirt
Following discussions with SRAM’s Blackbox programme, and through their newly acquired power crank company -Quarq, we were involved in putting power cranks on to downhill race bikes. These have been a huge help in increasing my understanding of the efforts, and requirements for downhill racing. With the data collected, training camp be planned more effectively.

Dirt Magazine article I was contacted by Dirt editor Mike Rose to write an article comparing Men to Women in terms of sporting performance. An interesting topic and it allowed me to research across a wide range of sports and disciplines.
The article headline ‘closing the gap’ also made the cover of the magazine!

World Champs – calm before the storm
The day before the World Championships, 2011.
Me and Danny are shown around SRAM’s new race truck with the lens of Dirt’s Billy capturing it for the website.
The following day Danny smoked the World’s best by over 16 seconds to become World Champion. Happy days.
